Roma Legacy is an Archive and a Learning tool that delivers world-class learning experiences for the representatives of the new generation, youths and adults interested in Roma activism, culture, and history. Acting as a collector of stories and using different methods of storytelling, we are publishing here profound and awe-inspiring testimonies of the Roma leaders who laid the foundations for the Roma movement in their countries of origin.
The website puts at your disposal documents, documentaries, and interviews about Roma characters that sparked the Roma (R)evolution. The project is developed by Roma Education Fund (REF), an international foundation that, for almost two decades, supported Roma citizens across Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe, and Turkey. REF provides grants, scholarships, and educational programs to entities and individuals who share REF’s belief în quality, inclusive education and desegregated schools and classrooms.
